Why it pays off

Without a good website you lose customers every day

1

You depend on a single main contractor

As long as the work arrives through one client, somebody else controls your order book. Visibility of your own is the only cover you have if that tap gets turned off.

2

Differences in quality stay invisible

There are worlds between a basic taped joint and a full skim finish — in labour and in price. A firm that never shows or explains that gets compared with outfits delivering far less.

3

Enquiries arrive without measurements

“What does a stud wall cost?” cannot be answered without area, height and build-up. A calculator filters ahead of you and hands over those numbers with the enquiry.

The market gap

Few trades are as poorly represented online as drywall

Drywall is a classic subcontractor trade. Most firms are kept busy by main contractors, developers and word of mouth, and have never needed a website. The result is that in most towns a search for drywall plus the place name returns directory listings, lead portals and trade marketplaces — and barely a single firm with a convincing site of its own.

For you that is an unusually favourable position. In fiercely contested trades such as plumbing or electrical you are up against firms with years of SEO history. In drywall a clean, fast website with real project photography is often enough to compete at the top of local search, simply because the competition never turned up.

There is a second effect. A firm working only through main contractors sells its labour at subcontractor rates. Private clients, architects and shopfitters pay considerably better — but they can only find you if you exist online at all. A website is therefore less a marketing cost than a lever on your margin.

And finally: drywall photographs well. A straight edge in raking light, a clean ceiling cut-out, a finished skimmed surface — these are images that prove competence instantly. Hardly any firm uses them. The ones that do stand out faster here than almost anywhere else.

How the price works

Why €49 a month is not a compromise

Many pay-monthly web design plans in the UK start around £75 and go well past £300 a month. If our price looks low next to that, here is exactly why — and what you give in return.

The build is spread over the term

There is no setup fee because the design and build are paid for across the 12-month minimum term rather than invoiced up front. On LAUNCH that means €588 excl. VAT over the first year — and you know that figure before you sign.

We work in industries we know

What a salon, a restaurant or a roofer needs online — booking, a menu, a project gallery — is already worked out for each sector we serve. Our time goes into your design and your copy, not into rediscovering what your customers look for.

Upkeep is a routine, not billable hours

Hosting, SSL, backups and updates are handled as one routine for every client instead of as hours on an invoice. Small changes are part of the plan, so there is no ticket queue and no hourly package to buy.

Specialist and no setup fee

Industry specialists usually charge a build fee in the four figures; plans with no setup fee are usually generalists. Sitetik is built around combining the two — sector know-how, €0 to start.

The trade-off, honestly: a 12-month minimum term, and prices in euros plus VAT. If you want to own a site outright from day one and maintain it yourself, a one-off build may suit you better — we compare both models openly here.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Is a website worth it when a main contractor keeps me busy?

Especially then. Relying on a single client is a risk, not a steady state. A website costs less per month than an hour of your labour and makes sure you are not starting from zero if that work stops — and that better-paying direct clients can find you at all.

How does the quote calculator work?

The enquirer picks the service, the area, the finish level and whether insulation is involved, and gets a realistic price range rather than an invented figure. You receive the enquiry with those details attached. It does not replace a site survey, but it filters out poor fits and turns a price click into a qualified enquiry.

Should I show prices online at all?

A range yes, a fixed price no. In 2026 the market sits at roughly €40 to over €110 per m² depending on build-up. Stating that range openly and explaining it reads as confident rather than expensive — and saves time with enquirers whose budget was never going to fit.

What does a drywall website cost?

Instead of around €2,000–4,000 up front at an agency, you pay from €49/month excl. VAT, or €69 for the recommended multi-page version with the calculator. Design, copy, domain, hosting and ongoing maintenance are included, and there is no setup fee.

I only have phone photos from site. Is that enough?

Yes — in drywall those are often the best images. What matters is the detail: a clean edge, a finished ceiling cut-out, a surface in raking light. We tell you what to look for when shooting and prepare the images for you.
